So a quick summary of my *amazing* yesterday:

I met up with the Illustrious deannatroi, and together we drove up to Asbury park where we:

  • Got super excited by the fact that it was on the boardwalk
  • Went to this awesome arcade with dozens of antique pinball machines and retro games
  • Got some damn good pizza, garlic knots, and cannolis
  • Saw A Hawk and a Hacksaw (They were amazing)
  • Geeked out as Jeff’s start time approached
  • Fell in love with Neutral Milk Hotel all over again with each song he played
  • Waited in the freezing cold for him to come out
  • Met Jeff Mangum and geeked out some more (Me especially)

Needless to say, it was a very good day. =]
